Residents had the opportunity at the Annual Parish Meeting to find out more about nieghbourhood planning and the implications for Shillingstone. A team of people has come forward to lead on the creation of such a plan and has been appointed a parish council committee. However, a neighbourhood plan has to be a reflection of he aspirations and prefences of the whole community and ultimately has to be approved by a referendum of the whole community. The Parish Council therefore put a brief questionnaire in the last edition of the parish magazine, to establish if there were issues which the village would like to see addressed in a neighbourhood plan. If you have not already responded, please complete the form (which is also on the website, so that the Cocni cna decide if there is community backing for development which could be controlled by the Parish Council.
